One of my favorite thrift stores was having a “sidewalk” sale last week. All the crap outside of the store was 50% off. Including the cast offs sitting in the parking lot.
This was one of my three purchases. I bought it with the intention of painting and flipping it. But after I got it home, I had a vision of how it could look in my new, improved, less formal dining room. I would like to say that it’s solid wood, but I just can’t go there. But don’t pre-judge this mid 70’s Mediterranean beauty. There’s some potential here.
I must follow my self imposed rule: if I keep something that I bring home…something I already own has to go. So the bench in the dining room,that has actually become an upscale cat bed on legs, is getting the ax. It’s on Craig’s List right now. And the best part is, I won’t have to lint roll the cat hair off of the new buffet!
